Welcome to Find Area Events (findareaevents.com). By using the site you agree to these terms. They are short — please read them.

What the site is

Find Area Events is a free guide to local happenings. Event details (dates, times, venues, prices, descriptions, images) are gathered automatically from publicly available sources such as venue websites, public calendars, and ticketing pages.

Accuracy — always double-check

Events change: they get cancelled, rescheduled, moved, or sell out. We work hard to keep listings accurate, but the information is provided as-is, without warranty. Always confirm details with the venue or organizer before making plans. We are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate or out-of-date listings.

Third-party content and links

Listings link out to venue and ticketing websites we do not control. Event names, images, and descriptions belong to their respective owners and are shown to describe and point to the public event they document. If you own content shown here and want it corrected or removed, email us and we will handle it promptly.

Sponsored placements

Some listings are paid placements, purchased by local businesses and organizers. Placements run on a weekly basis:

• Pricing is per week, and every started week counts as a full week (no pro-rating). Every week after the third in a single run is discounted 25%.
• Free-trial placements may be offered at our discretion; they display like any other placement and end automatically when the trial period ends.
• Placements linked to a specific event end no later than the event itself, and may be paused if the linked event is cancelled or removed from the live listings.
• We cap the number of placements shown in any area to keep each one visible; when an area is full, new placements are scheduled for the next available start date.
• Ad content must be accurate, lawful, and relevant to a local event, venue, or business. We may decline or remove any placement at our discretion; if we remove a paid placement for reasons other than a violation of these terms, we will refund the unused whole weeks.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Except as described above, fees are non-refundable.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the site: no attempting to disrupt it, no scraping at volumes that degrade it for others, no submitting false or misleading ad content, and no using it for anything unlawful.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Find Area Events is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site. Our total liability for any claim related to a paid placement is limited to the amount paid for that placement.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is always posted here with its date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
